Partially Oriented Yarn

Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn commonly known as Polyester POY refers to multifilament yarn that is only partially stretched. It is the primary form of yarn made by spinning polyester melt/chips. It is mainly used for manufacturing textured yarn; however, it can also be used in draw warping for weaving and warp knitting of fabrics. POY is available in three lustres: Semi-Dull, Full-Dull and Bright. POY yarn through the texturizing, draw warping or air texturizing routes is used for various end uses like apparels, industrial fabrics, upholstery and car furnishing, filter fabrics etc.

Properties

  • More durable than cotton
  • Does not fade on exposure to sunlight or soap
  • Better abrasion resistance
  • Wrinkle Resistant
  • Longer colour and print retention

End Uses

  • Shirting and Suiting
  • Sarees and ladies’ dress wear
  • Primary raw material used to manufacture DTY

Drawn Textured Yarn

Polyester Drawn Textured Yarn commonly known as Polyester DTY is a manufactured by processing Polyester POY. The yarn develops a texture by twisting and drawing it at the same time using heat. The yarn develops texture by a process involving hot drawing, twisting, thermosetting and de-twisting. The texturizing process imparts bulk and stretch properties. Different heating techniques can be used to make the yarn set for specific use. DTY can be provided with different levels of intermingling depending upon the requirements of downstream machines and applications. It can be Non-Intermingle (NIM), having 0 -10 knots/meter or Semi-Intermingle (SIM) having 40 – 50 knots/meter or High-Intermingle (HIM) having 100 – 120 knots/meter. These knots are created by usage of specific intermingling nozzle and subjecting yarnto desire intermingling pressure. DTY can be used in various applications, as a placement of natural yarns, or in specified technical applications. DTY is available in three lusters – Semi-Dull, FullDull and Bright.

Properties

• Can be made in different colours using doped dyed technology or traditional dyeing
• Good insulation properties
• Light weight with good covering properties
• Can give a woolly and mat appearance
• High wear and tear resistance
• Very low moisture content

End Uses

• Outer/Inner Garments
• Woven and knitted fabrics
• Skin-clinging garments
• Home Furnishings
• Upholstery
• Seat Covers
• Bags

Air Textured Yarn

Air-jet texturing process is a mechanical method, where cold air stream is used to produce bulked yarns of low extensibility. In this technology, very wide variety of feed yarns can be used. Air-textured yarns has distinctive appearance and physical characteristics of spun yarns. Air-jet texturing process is by far the most versatile of all the yarn texturing methods in terms of type of yarns, it’s linear density, and variety of effects that can be brought about using the same machine. This greater versatility offers the texturizer, far wider scope than other types of textured yarns.

Properties

The air jet bulked yarn has permanent crimps and loops and interlacing of filaments in the jet can cause the loops to be locked firmly in the yarn structure, so that subsequent twisting process becomes redundant. Loop frequency, loop dimensions, loop stability and physical bulk are the important characteristics of air jet textured yarns.

End Uses

• Automotive products
• Furnishing fabrics
• Sewing threads
• Shirting and blouses
• Shoelaces
• Tarpaulins

Polyethylene Terephthalate

PET chips are produced by granulating polyester formed in a polycondensation reaction of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and mono-ethylene glycol (MEG). They are manufactured for textile applications and are supplied to the yarn- producing industry in semi-dull and bright luster.

Polyester-cotton

PC combed yarn is a type of yarn made from a blend of polyester and cotton fibers. The term “PC” stands for “polyester-cotton,” and the yarn is created by blending polyester fibers, which are synthetic, with combed cotton fibers, which are natural.

Polyamide 6 (PA 6)

PA6 is a synthetic polymer and one of the most widely used types of nylon. It has a melting point of 223°C. PA6 is used in a variety of applications, including: track rollers, transport rollers, bearings, and swatch fasteners.
PA6 can also be reinforced with glass fiber to improve its stiffness, shrinkage, impact strength, and thermal durability.

Polyamide 66 black 7 Natural (PA66)

PA66 is a type of polyamide or nylon that is commonly used in the textile and plastic industries. It is a popular engineering thermoplastic that is often used as a substitute for metal.
PA66 is used in a variety of applications, including: automotive parts, electronic appliances, power tools, gears, and mechanical

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

We can offer various HDPE to meet demanding applications like high-pressure pipes, telecom ducts, carrier bags, woven sacks, and injection and blow-moulded products.

PPolypropylene (PP)

Polypropylene (PP), also known as polypropene, is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications including packaging and labelling, textiles (e.g., ropes, thermal underwear and carpets), stationery, plastic parts and reusable containers of various types, laboratory equipment, loudspeakers, automotive components, and polymer banknotes. In 2013, the global market for polypropylene was about 55 million metric tons.

We can offer wide range of PP products like PP Homopolymer, PP Impact Co-polymer & PP Random Co-polymer.

Polycarbonate (PC)

Polycarbonate (PC) is a transparent, amorphous thermoplastic polymer that is commonly used in a wide range of applications, including safety glasses, electronic components, automotive parts, and construction materials. One of the main advantages of PC is its high impact resistance, which makes it an ideal material for applications that require durability and toughness. PC also has good optical clarity, which makes it suitable for use in applications that require transparent materials, such as safety glasses or electronic displays. Additionally, PC has good electrical insulation properties and can withstand high temperatures. However, PC is more expensive than some other thermoplastics, and can be prone to scratching and yellowing over time when exposed to UV radiation. Additionally, PC is not as heat-resistant as some other thermoplastics, and can release toxic fumes when burned or exposed to high temperatures.

Polyvinyl Chloride Resin (PVC RESIN)

PVC resin, a synthetic resin belonging to the group of polymeric natural mixes, fabricated by mass, arrangement, suspension, and emulsion polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer, with free-radical initiators (peroxide impetus), as a rule in watery suspension or emulsion. Subsequent to blending with plasticizers, stabilizers, and colours, the PVC resin might be manufactured by techniques, for example, calendaring, trim, or expulsion into flexible articles, for example, waterproof shells, shower curtains and packaging films. The resin is not plasticized for use in making rigid products such as water pipe, plumbing fittings and phonograph records. For use in making channelling or basic boards that require high imperviousness to affect, polyvinyl chloride regularly is mixed with little extents of rubbery synthetic polymers. PVC Resins more easily plasticized than polyvinyl chloride can be set up by including different extents of vinyl acetic acid derivation to vinyl chloride before polymerizing the blend; stiffer resins result from treatment of polyvinyl chloride with chlorine.

Properties

  • Impact Strengh
  • Tensile Strength
  • Elongation
  • Heat Stability
  • Electrical Volume Resistance

End Uses

  • Agriculture (rigid pipes and fittings, flexible tubes, hoses)
